Coming into existence

R&J Healthcare was formed in 2017 by Liz Robson (MSc Physiotherapy and BSc Sports Science) after many years of working in sport, clinical management and clinic/gym based settings.  Having spent all of her career as a physiotherapist working for someone else and following their dreams, Liz decided to step away from the corporate machine and form her own company that would use her knowledge of sport, physiotherapy and biomechanics and apply it to every level of athlete and fitness enthusiast. Ta Da, R&J Healthcare was formed.

We focus on getting the best results for our clients using exercise based rehabilitation, manual hands on therapy, gait analysis, bespoke orthotic prescription, education and advice. Our philosophy is 'you are at the core of everything we do'. We achieve results with this by working with clients towards their individual goals, assessing and reassessing physical capabilities and guiding clients through education, advice and sports specific training and rehab programs.

Physiotherapy is an evidence based practice using the most up-to-date research, knowledge and skills combined to identify an individuals functioning needs and improve a broad range of physical problems associated with different systems of the body. 

At R&J Healthcare we are not only here to solve problems - we are here to help prevent them from arising in the first place. Each person makes different demands of their body, depending on their lifestyle and the activities they carry out. How their body responds to those demands is governed by a range of factors, including their overall physical condition.  

We aim to help you find the best way to use your body to maximise your strengths, eliminate bad habits and put minimal strain on weaker areas, to help you enjoy a more full and healthy life.
